| This was a painting done following a wonderful wildlife expedition to Wyoming's Yellowstone & Tetons parks in February. In my view, there was plenty of snow, but the locals were worried that there wouldn't be enough to provide sufficient watermelt for spring. I thought that the juxtaposition of these beautiful complementary colors--the red-orange willow shrub with blue-green firs--was extraordinary. |
