| I paint regularly with a group of plein air painters, who are, interestingly, all pastel painters with the Maryland Pastel Society. This was painted at a somewhat dilapidated horse boarding farm nearby. It is overrun with animals, weeds, and charming garden vignettes such as these hollyhocks by the fence. The farm, sadly, has been recently sold, so we will probably paint there no longer. |
