| Another of my paintings created during Plein Air Easton 2009 as one of the 50 competitors from across the US in this event. The colorful awning and rack of clothes in front of this dress shop caught my eye. This was a typical, "Easton-in-July" hot & humid day, but shoppers seemed to appreciate the shade that the awning cast and many stopped to browse. This shopper was kind enough to pose for me for about 5 minutes while I quickly put her into the painting. |
